4th March – The Feast from the East.
Way back at the end of last year, when planning our events calendar, we knew from previous experience that Feb/March can produce some rather brutal weather. So, when the weather forecast indicated the return of ‘The Beast from the East‘ we had already scheduled in our own solution – The Feast from the East.
So, on a chilly 4th March, twenty-four from West London met up for a Chinese meal (the promise of food always encourages a good turnout!)From the feedback (intentional pun) all had a great time.
We encourage members to bring their partners along to these social gatherings, which just adds to the fun.
In fact, the event is so popular that we were oversubscribed and the restaurant regrettably had to decline five more who wanted to join us.
Next time we’ll just have to book the whole place!
