Oxford Soaring to Great Heights at the Glider Museum

On a bright but chilly morning 13 of the Oxford folk met mid morning to ride to the Lasham Gliding Museum.

Met by their leader for the day, Glyn, and taken to the hangers where the museum was based.

A lovely lunch in the café was followed by a 2-hour tour of the gliders – dating from the 1930’s to now.

A fascinating visit with excellent hospitality!

More tea and cake before heading home – still in bright sunshine.
