4 x members of Gloucester HOC, met at the Toby Cravery, Brockworth, for their first ride out since lockdown.
We headed out through Brookthorpe, before joining the A38, towards Bristol, turning off to go to visit The Purton Hulks.,
The Purton Hulks, are number of abandoned boats and ships deliberately beached between the 1910’s and 1960’s, along the River Severn at Purton, to reinforce the river bank and prevent erosion.
Also if you have watched His Dark Materials, some of the scenes were shot along this stretch of canal and river bank.
After visiting the Hulks, we made our way back through Dursley, Uley, and Stroud, before returning home.
The weather stayed dry, and government advice on social distancing maintained.
