Easter Monday turned out to be a perfect day for a ride out. We went the back roads to Richmond, through Leyburn along Wensleydale to Hawes for a coffee then past Ribblehead viaduct, Ingleton to Devil’s bridge for a burger then off to the Lakes, up Windermere Ullswater then up the brilliant twisties to Hartside which is still in ruins. After that it was Alston then a good thrash through Weardale to the A68 cafe (Closed) where we said our goodbyes and set off home. Brilliant day, brilliant weather, brilliant roads and views and of course brilliant company.
