With some trepidation seeing the weather on Saturday, the Oxford Branch forged ahead with plans for the Inter Branch ‘picnic and puds’ event at Savernake Forest Near Marlborough on Sunday- it was going to be a BBQ event but the Forest Commission discouraged BBQ’s. However, banners, gazebo, table and puds at the ready the Branch members were eagerly awaited – and they did not disappoint! Some 30 HOC members from four branches arrived for a picnic, chat and puds in the sunshine – not a spot of rain in site! All fed and watered, the meeting broke up around 3pm for a ride home to their various areas. Many thanks to all who came and in particular Colin from Oxford who provided the gazebo and table. Thanks to Mike also who was on hand with his drone to provide some excellent arial photos
