Northern Ireland go As* about Face

Greg O’Hagan was tasked putting a rideout out together so this is account.

Greg’s wrong way up tour.

Only in Ireland do we head “down south” to get to the most northerly point of Ireland!

Our adventure started in Toomebridge village on the banks of the River Bann…heading north following the Bann to Kilrea village and across the Garvagh hills to Limavady…a short run to Magilligan Point to catch the ferry to the Republic of Ireland..

The sea air gave us all an appetite and lunch was the order of the day.

After getting fed and watered we took a great ride to Malin Head…a little layer of fog blocked our scenic views but Philip swore he could see the Statue of Liberty 😁…down to Clonmaney and over the hills to Fort Dunree with epic views over Lough Swilly…

Back onto the A roads for the journey home following the coastline to Derry city and down the Glenshane Pass looking across to Lough Neagh …thanks go out to Antony & Hayley, Philip & Caroline and Bill from Carrick …a great bunch to travel with ..good fun, good food and all home safe and sound …top job 👍🏼

Cheers

Antony
