Wednesday 6th August
At very short notice Dave Plumb led a team of six on a great flowing ride on some very nice roads that took in Leaden Roding, High Easter, Barnston, Rayne, Halstead and Bulmer. A fine lunch was then had at the Corner Cafe in Sible Hedingham. It was great to have Martin with us again after a lay off recovering from a motorcycle injury. He also paid for our grub, thank you! The missing person in the picture was John, our photographer. I’m sitting with the other donkeys. We then went to the cafe at Hatfield Heath for a final stop going via Gt Yeldham, Finchingfield, Thaxted and Elsenham. Lovely weather and a nice day out..
