On 10th November I led a Ride and was pleased that there were ten of us, bearing in mind the onset of Autumn. I headed off to Bradwell Marina using country roads so via Stondon Massey, Ingatestone, Stock, Rettendon and across to Burnham. I had hoped to stop for the respectful silence but did not come across a suitable gathering near that time having gone through Stock a bit too early. With a temporary loss we got to the Marina, but the proposed grub stop was unusually closed, so off we went to the cafe at Asda in Heybridge. Lovely grub like last week! Next Dave Plumb led us on a good route through to a final stop at Finchingfield. I didn’t know where we were most of the time but we went through Witham and Gosfield. A very nice good paced day with dry roads until the damp came in as it got dark. We were all so excited that no one took a picture! Sorry.
