North London Ride Out 7th April

Hello Everyone…

😊

North London have an Ambient day

On 7th April a highly motivated and cheerful team met at our usual McDonalds for a Ride to the Ambiance cafe at St Neots.

This is a very nice café on the Riverside with good portions. Steak pie there is one of my favourites.

There were ten of us and I led the way going through Epping Upland, Roydon, through the Hadhams, Braughing, Barkway, Royston and Gamlingay.

After lunch three went off for other commitments, apparently some leather was being kicked about somewhere, while the rest of us went to a fine café at Hatfield Heath.

Our route was Longstowe, Royston, Barley, Newport, Elsenham and Takeley. The roads were dry, it was not cold but it was fairly windy and many of us were fortunate enough to be carrying enough ballast to mitigate the wind’s mischievous effects.

The route was seriously good, lots of bendy country roads. A great day!
