Last month our meeting place, ‘The Volunteer’ suddenly closed (having been sold by the brewery), so we were homeless!
Our first choice for a new meeting place was opposite, but the severe lack of car parking space meant we had to look elsewhere.
A couple of other venues were tried and we have settled on ‘The Queens Head’ in Waltham Abbey.The landlady has made us most welcome and 17 members endorsed the choice last night.
So North London Branch will now meet at ‘The Queens Head’, Paternoster Hill, WALTHAM ABBEY, EN9 3LA every Thursday from 8pm.
