HOC GB NI Branch met up at the Newcastle Centre on the promenade in Newcastle on a sunny Sunday morning and, after a cuppa, nine bikes headed off along the Co Down coast before turning up into the Mourne Mountains for the first stop at Spelga Dam. Winding roads down the mountain led first into Rostrevor, Warrenpoint, then Newry where we took the road out to Carlingford Co Louth. After a stop for something to eat at the seafront, Antony led the way to the Long Woman’s Grave then through Omeath and back into Newry where the group split up homeward bound. A very enjoyable run out in great weather.
