Durham and North East ride out 23rd June

27°c sunshine, bikes & mates, what more would you want.

Durham & North East were off to the Scottish Borders. 7 meet at Greggs, ready to set off to our first stop Errington café where we meet up with Ian & Colin.

Whilst there we had to repair Mark’s tyre as it had a screw in it. After a brief stop we continued up the A68 where we stopped in Jedburgh for fuel before going to Leaderfoot Viaduct before lunch at Rhymers café for lunch.

Bellies full we set off again north towards Gifford by some fab roads past Whiteadder Resevoir and onto Berwick upon tweed for another stop.

From here we followed the coastal road passing, Bamburgh castle, Seahouses before stopping again for fuel in amble.

From here we split and went different ways home. All in a fantastic day. Thanks to all who attended.

Cheers.

Mark
