60th Anniversary Classic Show 2021 Update

UPDATE RE CLASSIC SHOW  ON 27th JUNE 2021 IN LIGHT OF THE PM’S ANNOUNCEMENT

With regard to the PM’s Covid announcement on 14th June. We are happy to announce that the Classic Show will be going ahead and we have made extra provision for social distancing. The museum is Covid compliant and takes its responsibilities seriously.

Our responsibility as the show holder is to provide as safe an environment as possible.

Your responsibility as a show goer is to bring hand sanitiser and a mask for indoors and to ensure that you are aware of other peoples space. If you feel that an area is too crowded for your liking then please move away to a less crowded area.

We have done as much as we can to ensure that there is more space to look at the bikes and a larger area to eat and socialise.

Hope to see you there and that the sun shines !

Programme is as follows—times are approx. !

10AM—OPEN

11.15AM—LAST ENTRIES FOR CONCOURS BOOKED IN AT GAZEBO

11.30-12.30  APPROX—JUDGING

1.30PM—PRIZEGIVING

Allen Millyard and Sammy Miller will be firing up bikes at intervals during the day. Remember HOC members get discounted admission to the museum on production of valid membership card.

This year’s classic show on Sunday the 27th of June is lining up to be very special!Firstly, it is at the fantastic venue, Sammy Miller’s museum which is full of historic motorcycles, awards, and other memorabilia.Secondly, Honda UK are intending to be there, bringing some bikes.Thirdly, you may have seen articles in MCN and Classic Motorcycle Mechanics letting the general motorcycling community know that this year is the HOCs 60th anniversary. We are hoping that both publications will be attending, and will publish reports on the classic show. Also, weather and covid allowing, we will be having a special guest at this year’s classic show, who will hopefully be showing not one, but two very special machines. So, who is this special guest? None other than Allen Millyard, who aims to be bringing his RC374 and his SS100.For those of you who may not be familiar with Allen, here is a link to his YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/user/millyardviperI think you will all agree, this is one event not to be missed!
