The Three Shires ‘s No Rally was another success, 31 attendees had the usual “start of the season” rally which included, lovely food provided by the Dukes Barn catering staff, Beer and Lager supplied by the local independent brewery and ride out on the Saturday in fairly decent weather (cold but dry).
31 members from 7 different branches including, Bedfordshire, Birmingham, East Midlands, Oxford, Durham, Lincs & Cambridge and the Three Shires all enjoyed each other’s company, banter and laughter.
The ride out was a little disjointed due to mistakes in the drop off system however when we eventually got back together, we took in Derbyshire, Notinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire finally arriving at Willingham Woods biker Café at Market Rasen after riding the magnificent Caistor High Road. On arriving back at the ‘Barn’ we had covered 200 mile in 6.5 hours!
A fun raffle raised £67 and the initial takings for the week end contributed to over £2000 for the Dukes Barn Charity, big thank you to all who attended but a special thank you to all those who helped and worked hard with the operation of the rally especially Martyn and Angie who worked tirelessly in the kitchen over the week end.
