On 3rd November Richard kindly stepped forward to lead a ride and six of us, of a fairly even pace,
met up at the usual McDonald’s. A lovely route took us to Ongar, Leaden Roding, Chelmsford and
Maldon where we had brunch at a nice cafe at Heybridge basin. It was by an Asda store. We then went to our usual Finchingfield afternoon stop via Tiptree, Coggeshall, Earls Colne, Halstead and Sible Hedingham. It was a very pleasant but shortish ride at a very nice flowing pace with us all staying together. Brisk but sensible. Nicely dry too. Good to have Steve J back with us after recovery from an injury.
