On Wednesday 30th October John kindly led another ride. On a nice day seven of us left Birchanger Services on the M11 and went through Saffron Walden, Linton and Newmarket before heading East on the A14 to the good Hungry Stag diner off J47A of the A14. We had had a couple of U turns on the way and two of our group arrived at lunch separately, the turns having put the marking out. After good food and chat we went back towards Bury St Eds on country roads, the A143 to Haverhill and then across to Days Bakery just north of the A505. Most of us then went home via Barkway and Hare Street and as I got near home the traffic was dreadful. We need an earlier finish mid week. A nice ride overall…
