“Alan, Ian and myself took a trip to Leeds Armoury.
When we arrived there was a comic character convention going on where Alan was captured by a stormtrooper from star wars.
The Armoury is well worth a visit telling the history of many battles through the ages along with weapons used.
The weather stayed dry so we decided to take the scenic route home stopping at Ripon for a final drink. Then on to Masham, Catterick and Scotch Corner, joining the motorway again before the rain started as we got to Durham.
Yet another great day out for members of the Durham & North East HOC Branch”.
