Cambs and Lincs Ride-out to Rutland Water

Five of us set out from Crowland in glorious sunshine and headed to JD’s café in Weldon were we met another two from the group.

After a nourishing fry-up we set off towards Harringworth railway viaduct (the longest masonry viaduct in the UK). After a short photostop we proceed to the south of Rutland Water through some lovely villages and spectacular scenery aided by the golden coloured leaves on the trees.

We rode through Stamford and onto McDonalds at Bourne for a coffee before bidding our farewells.

Great company, lovely grub, super scenery – what’s not to like!
