Sunday 1st November turned out to be a fine day, though it is starting to get a little chillier. Dave Plumb led a great Ride to Krazy Horse at Bury St Edmunds. This is a fine place to which we have not been for a while, nice food and flash but expensive bikes and clothing on sale there. We can only look and dream! There were ten of us and we had some marking errors which meant some of us went different ways but we all got there safely and arrived at a similar time. After food and conversation two left to get back directly as football was due to be on TV while the remaining eight took very fine roads to the Tea Room at Hatfield Heath. There were no losses and the pace was quite quick. For the first time in a while we turned off the A143 coming home and went through Whepstead and Hartest, connecting up to Cavendish. A particularly good bit of biking road. A fine day indeed.
