East Midlands annual pilgrimage to Mad O’Rourkes Pie Factory

There were not so may of us this year as a great lurgy diminished the numbers a few at a time, but 11 of us made it fighting fit.
Graham from Bedford branch and Trevor from Birmingham joined us. We had our youngest ever pie eater at 16 months old and 2 of the big boys tackled the famous Desperate Dan Cow Pie!! with Roger taking on the Mick’s Grill served on a shovel.
It was good to see some old familiar faces, we had a great time and look forward to returning once more for the next pilgrimage.
