Discussion regarding recent issues highlighted by some FB members – prevented from posting comments. Having looked into this, the issue is with META and Facebook.
Monthly rideouts – these are to continue. Brian has made arrangements for July and August. Rideout on Sunday 6th July to take in west of the province – Fermanagh/Tyrone. Meeting place and pickup on route to be confirmed.
Bishopscourt 1st-3rd August – Classic Bike Festival Ireland. This is a great weekend of racing and music. Appeal for bikes for display and members’ help on stand. Some interest from those present. This year the festival is the finale of Joey Dunlop Memorial Celebrations.
Meetings – it was proposed that monthly meetings take a break for summer months resuming in September. Consensus was that meetings should continue without break.
Teddy Bear Rideout – taking place this weekend 28th June starting at Joey’s Bar in Ballymoney. Participants from Northern Ireland looking forward to taking part having already won the lottery to name the bear, Joey. Good luck extended to all those HOC members helping the bear on his travels and any members taking part as support riders.
Moving forward – Brian raised possibility of putting branch on a more club based footing. Members agreed to give this consideration with further discussion scheduled for next meeting.
