On 19th March four riders braved the hottest day of the year so far for a ride to the Lilley Arms just south of Luton. The ride was led by the handsome and somewhat dashing Steve Jones. (His words. 😊). The route from McDonalds took the intrepid travellers round the outskirts of Harlow, through Royston, on an old toll road to Hoddeston and continued west till Lilley was reached. There they met our spiritual leader Graham Gull to make five for lunch. Almost as soon as they continued on afterwards John had another puncture as an excuse for a stop and this was easily fixed by our puncture expert Richard. The route home took in Bassingbourne and a stop at the nice Tapps Tea room, Baldock. It was a great day out enjoyed by all.
Regards
Steve Armstrong
