A fine eight of us turned up and I led them to the recommended Ambience cafe for lunch. The good route was through Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham (should have been Many Hadturkey), Royston and Gamlingay. Richard somehow had got separated but arrived at the exact time we did! After a nice lunch and chat we went for an afternoon tea and cake stop at Mill End tea rooms near Baldock. Very nice and friendly there and our route was through Gambollinggaily again, Potton and Ashwell. Robin kindly treated us to our refreshments there. From there home was via the A10 more or less. The weather was particularly pleasant for December and not all the roads were damp, though I was accused of finding the damp slippery ones.. as usual. Keeps us sharp. Nice to see Robin on his recent purchase NT1100. John C missing from photo as he kindly took it..
Regards
