On Wednesday 2nd April Dave Plumb led yet another great Ride. This one went to the recommendable Hungry Stag cafe near Bury St Eddy for lunch, always friendly and good food, with a later stop at Days Bakery in Newton where Martin purchased the cake and beverages. A large mileage was done, about 240 miles, so direct routes were not taken and weather and road conditions were good. Six went and only John not in one of the pictures. At lunch they were joined by someone living on one of the moons of Jupiter. One had to guard one’s food carefully when it came as he had no table manners. At the tea stop Chris Taylor says he didn’t eat cake, but a picture doesn’t fib. Nice to see Chris Percival on his bike again after a hip replacement. I am a week behind him after the same procedure, so should be out soon. I know I am sorely missed. 🤔.
