A late decision was made and Chris Taylor stepped up to take us to the fine Ambiance Cafe at Riverside, St Neots. Six riders took part and we managed to get there in two and a half hours on some nice roads. The next stop was Days Bakery in Newton, another nice stop for tea and cakes courtesy of Chris and involving an hour and a half’s riding and a tour of Cambridge, an added bonus indeed. After the last stop we took a nice direct route home. A good day, not warm, but dry..
