Four motorbikes met at Britannia Cafe, Mousehold for breakfast, Tony and Penny, Colin, John and Freda and Roger. Tony led us to Skeyton Goat via Buxton Mill arriving at about 11.00 am. The pub and surrounding meadow were already buzzing, there seemed to be many more exhibits than previous years. The ladies, after a wander, found a convenient bank in the sun to sit and ‘people watch’, while the men made their way around a fantastic array of cars and motorcycles. Having spent a very pleasant 3 hours wandering around, sitting chatting and queuing for ice cream!! we decided to call it a day. Leaving the Goat the first drops of rain hit our helmets. Hopefully, we all got home reasonably dry.
