Manhoc Ride Saturday 3rd October 2026- Ride to the Wall – it was to the National Armed Forces Memorial, Arboretum meeting in Staffordshire. In glorious sunshine we started from Poplar at 9am, and it was a short hop down to Knutsford Services to join some 1000 other bikers,. From here, we set off with them at 9.50am, down the M6, to the Wall. This was a National event to pay our respects and show solidarity to our service men and women who’s names are engraved on the wall, meeting up with fellow bikers arriving from 4 locations around the country On arrival there were thousands of bikers and bikes everywhere, taking part in this National charity. In a very beautiful, serene, garden setting of the Arboretum, we attended the excellent service to show our respects to the wall where the fallen had been named. Back on the bikes, time had just disappeared, and it was late, but we still decided to Gary vant adhoc home through the beautiful Peak District. However, at Holmes Chapel it was about to go dark, so we joined the easy way home M6, and waved our goodbyes. Unfortunately, no end of run coffees, cakes and hugs stop this time, but it had been a good day.
