We had a grand day out today all carrying wet gear expecting a downpour and all we had was sunshine and scorching heat which reached 34° at one point but settled down to a more sensible 27°later.
Six of us set off over the moors through Stokesley, Easby when I got to Commondale I stopped to count bikes and found one more.
Hello Amy! Who had joined in and very welcome as well.
Paul suggested a different route from there so he lead us for the rest of the day down to the NY 500 café where as usual interesting things were going on.
We had to eat inside where it was slightly cooler.
From there it was a roundabout way along country roads to Thirsk for an ice cream stop.
Then home through Northallerton, brilliant day.
Fantastic roads thanks to Paul. And very good company. And not a drop of rain
Cheers
Phil.
