10:00am saw Dave & Clare J & Alan W meeting at The Chef’s Delight Café in Tidworth for a leisurely & hearty brunch before setting off the 20 miles or so via Avebury Henge & Stone Circles & arriving at The Unhenged café shop & café.
So, after meeting up with Rob G, a post-rally catch up, ☕️ & a 2nd stamp duly collected in our ‘Bike & Brew’ Passports, it was time to head off again down some interesting Wiltshire country roads.
30 mins or so more riding found the ‘Fab Four’ warming up slightly (apart from Claire 🥶) & arriving at Malmesbury Garden Centre for stamp number 3 & some more well earned sustenance. ☕️ 🍰
Now getting on into the afternoon, we reckoned we could squeeze in one more ☕️ & obtain a fourth stamp before calling it a day. It was just a final, short 7 mile hop across to the final destination, Chippenham Pit Stop, a roadside service stop just off the M4.
Finally replete & more than a little surprised at how many locations in the Bike & Brew Passport don’t open on a Sunday… we set off for the 40 miles, 55 minutes or so home leg with riders peeling off on route.
Another dry, very enjoyable, early season ride on a variety of roads to bikey places with mates. What’s not to like?🤔🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️ 💨
