Wilts HOC ride out May Bank Holiday 2026

Pending a Sweltering Sunday Stamp Collecting:

On the Sunday of the late May Bank Holiday, 3 members of Wilts HOC met up to ride out and collect a few Bike & Brew passport stamps. Sean and Don elected to make an early start, having breakfast at Choppers in Burbage, and collecting their first stamp of the day. Andrew opted for the extra time in bed on the bank holiday and arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled “wheels up” time for a quick catch-up.

At 9:15 on the button, the intrepid trio set out on the their bladder and bank balance busting mission, to visit a further five locations in the Cotswolds; The Wild Olive at Butts Farm near Cirencester, The Classic Motor Hub in Bibury, Revs Automobilia on the Fosse Way near Moreton-in-Marsh, Lynwood & Co in Bampton, and Kickstand Coffee in Faringdon.

Don bailed out after the lunch stop preferring to head home for some cold beers in his garden rather than facing another couple of hours in a sweaty saddle! It was a ver hot day, so you can Harley blame him.

With lots of stamps collected, more cold pop than brews drunk, and many friendly nods to the hundreds of bikers out and about doing the same thing, the mission was a Triumph.

Looking forward to the next one already!
