On Sunday 13th June, forecast to be the hottest day of the year so far, thirteen members from West London Branch rearranged set off for the newly opened Iron Bull Roadhouse near Basingstoke. We were greeted by the owner, Paul, who made us very welcome and reminisced over old Hondas he had previously owned. This is a new very biker-friendly cafe on the A30 and within easy striking distance of many of the HOC branches in the south. New member Peter Loader from Farnborough Kent joined us for the first time. And long-time member Andy travelled up from Bristol on his Guzzi. There is an imaginative menu there – not just burgers and plenty of space inside and outdoors. So, if you want to ‘heffer’ a good meal then saddle-up and steer your bike to the Iron Bull
