A cold and foggy morning was not enough to deter bikes from all areas turning up for The Ace Cafe Xmas Toy Run. Well done to the two Steves – Cribbin and Hill for making the long journey there along with lesser mortals Jude and Charles! And it was good to meet up with HOC member Nicole, who came along with some members of her other local bike club (Hanwell & Ealing). After thawing out with a couple of cups of tea the well-marshalled group set off to visit and drop off presents for vulnerable children via local charities. There were many Santas and Elves who discarded their sleighs in favour of two wheels while the local police joined in, kindly holding up the traffic so the group could get out onto the North Circular together.
