At last a Sunday morning without rain – enough totempt three of us from West London to enjoy a ride through the soggy countryside to The Departure Lounge Cafe near Alton in Hampshire.Quite a few other people had the same idea, including a group of about 20 Harley Riders(although there were only 4 of their bikes in the car park) and a group of Smart Car owners- it takes all sorts!The cafe is quite a quirky place as Chris’ pix show. The routes down there take you through nice biking roads,with Loomies Moto Cafe just within a short distance. Worth a visit if you haven’t been before although service is always a bit on the slow side – we didn’t mind as it gave us time to warm up on a chilly morning
