Mike T arranged a ride today to the Cafe 66 down in south Kent. Unfortunately he was the only one on the ride.
He set off from Thurrock Services at 9.30am. It wasn’t a sunny day; in fact it was a damp day with medium to strong winds.
Mike rode down to the Cafe 66 and stopped for lunch here.
After lunch Mike rode down to Battle and paid a visit to the battle site.
Mike, not wanting to be defeated by the weather then set off for Beachy Head. After a visit here he made his way home.
The bike and himself got coated in road spray and so the task of cleaning the bike took place.
Well done Mike for offering to lead the ride today. Sorry no one else tagged along.
