Sunday 26th March Biker Down Course.
Given it was another wet Sunday morning, what better way to use the time positively than for West London to attend a Biker Down course run for free by the LFB in our area.
So it was, that Martin, Charles, Jude and I went through a process of learning, revision and updating our practical skills in case we should ever be involved in attending an accident.
Because the course was run by people who had a wealth of experience in attending such scenes, but were also keen bikers, the discussion was lively and relevant.
Many myths were bust, including that of when/whether to remove the helmet of a casualty. If you haven’t yet been on such a course it’s certainly well worth considering.
ps – we didn’t actually arrive on that Fire Engine.
