A good branch meeting this evening. Met Stuart and Lloyd at the mountain cafe on top of Caerphilly Mountain. Rode over to the Rugby Club where we were joined by Nick, Murray and John.
John led us to Porthcawl where partook of chips, etc. at Beales. Afterward we took the coast road to Barry and turned north along 5 mile lane. At the junction with the A48 John turned left for home and the rest of us turned right. Along to Culverhouse Cross where Murray disappeared looking for a MacDonald’s or something. The next parting was at Coryton on the M4 where Nick and I struck north and Lloyd and Stuart carried on along the M4.
A good evening ride with good company and added bonus of chips. Must do it again, possibly next month weather permitting.
