Good ride today. 8 bikes. Stephen Llewellyn led but his sat-nav had its own idea of where it wanted to go. Did some interesting roads that bordered on green lanes. Others in the line-up were (in no particular order) Lloyd Williams, John Price, Alan Harper, Murray and Andrew Wiltshire, Stuart Gayand myself.
We eventually made it to Aberwesyn and the Devil’s Staircase after having made a pit stop at the Honey Cafe to recover from the trauma of the first minor road. We then headed down to Lynne Brianne to the safe haven of the Owl’s Nest only to discover that they had run out of bacon. A travesty, we had to settle for sausages and tea.
After such traumatic events we had a nice cruise over the Black Mountain and home via Aberdare. A good ride, thanks Stephen.
I did 170 miles. The bike has been washed as it looked like I had been trials riding. Those roads were real mucky. Thanks for the great company guys.
