Great ride today (29/12/2019). 4 of us, John, Stephen, Murray and myself. All on Hondas (a Pan, an Africa Twin, a GL1000 and an NC750X). We met at Dowlais, Asda and left some time after 10am. First stop was Tal-y-bont reservoir via the mountain roads. We then headed for Sennybridge and shortly after turned off the A40 at Trecastle to take the back roads to Llandovery. Quite a nice road, very quiet with good tarmac and lots of bends.
Bacon and tea/coffee was involved at the rest stop (of course Stephen had a healthy salad). Homeward bound we headed for Sennybridge and then down to Abercraf, taking a quick left past the chimpanzee sanctuary to Glyn Neath. Up to Rihgos and then over the Bwlch. John lives over that way so he dropped off and the rest I us headed for Pontyclun and then down the bypass.
A great ride, with good company. Sorry no photos from me but Murray took some. Oh yeah and somebody had a new hi-viz for Christmas.
