‘S No Rally 2025 report

After the meet and greet on the Friday and a lovely Pie & Pea supper, 21 attendees settled down to an evening of chat and catch up and few beers.

A great start to Saturday with a full English breakfast before the planned ride through Derbyshire and Staffordshire. 15 bikes with 17 members took to the road and covered a total of 88 miles of beautiful roads and decent weather stopping off at Churnet Valley Steam Railway’s Froghall Station for a coffee and cake before continuing through Blakelow then on towards Buxton for a lunch break at the Navigation Inn in Brookside (Derbyshire not Liverpool!). After lunch we then completed our ride back to Dukes Barn, sadly the heavens opened at 4pm so we all got soaked for the last 25mins but the Barns drying room took care of the wet gear. All cleaned up and ready for the Saturday evening Chicken Curry and relaxation.

We were blessed with a visit from the Trumpster himself Trumpety Trump, to present the medals for Best Bike (Roger Elvin’s White Transalp). Longest Distance (Charles Dekin 164miles) and Grot Bike (Bitsa – Drew Smith).

The Raffle raised £73 for the Dukes Barn with the rest of the evening full of laughs, chat and more beer.

Sunday’s breakfast of a full English set everyone up just right for the long trip home. I believe all of the 21 people who attended had a good time.

Thanks go to Stu for arranging the Ride, Colin for managing the Barn, cooking, socialising and cleaning, Angie for cooking & cleaning, Daryl from Bedforshire Branch for helping in the kitchen (much appreciated) and me for everything else!
