Brave and hearty HOC Members arrived in rain and wind to enjoy the Oxford Rally.
Tents were erected and well pegged down then a dash to the marquee for coffee, tea and home made cake!
Then into the pub for a hearty meal and brain teasing quiz led by David before ending the evening with lots of chatting and catching up.
Saturday dawned bright, sunny and windy but had sharp showers all day, however the valiant 14 riders completed the 100 plus mile ride out for the Oxford 2023 Charity Poker Run, raising £275 for the RNLI – and all managed to stay mainly dry!!
Saturday evening saw another tasty meal in the pub and lots more chatter before retiring to the marquee for a late night coffee with delicious brownies and flapjacks made by Mark.
Sunday morning was sufficiently dry enough to pack up and head for home.
Well done to everyone who came along and joined in the run – great to see you all!
