Northern Ireland Branch have a Mental time at the Killyman Show.

Well that’s another show under our belts, This time the host was Killyman Motorcycle and Car Show at Killyman Church Hall on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th of May, supporting Mental Health Motorbike with Ashley Knowles as regional coordinator and his team.

There was an array of modern, classic and vintage motorcycles, both racing and road bikes inside the hall, as well as a F1 racing side car  and various stands with motorcycling merchandise.

Outside on the tarmac classic cars and some stationery engines were on display.

Honda Motorcycle Owners Club GB N.Ireland Branch had lots of interest with leaflets being lifted and chatting to various people enquiring about the club and the benefits of being a member.

Questions were asked on several issues including a basic maintenance evening for new motorcyclists not sure on what to do and look for, contacts were made with a gentleman suggesting a place in the Antrim area to contact about making our future meeting place –  a welcome alternative to the current one!

Chatting with the Bike Safe representative for the PSNI who offered to give a talk on bike safety if this is something we would be interested in and also a refresher day course on the safe use of  motorcycles on the road (practical training course).

We were fortified throughout the event by Simply Good Catering who supplied delicious food,  plenty of tea and homemade baked goodies.
