Sunday 2nd August 6 bikes met up on a sunny morning at Waitrose carpark, Northants for a 120mile rideout led by Ron, meeting at 9.45am for a chinwag we set off at 10am riding through Northants, Leicestershire and almost into Rutland, we stopped at a popular motorbike cafe/cabin at Belton A47 for a cuppa, after 2 hrs of riding on the best roads we needed it, only to be told to get our orders in because 100 bikes were due to turn up, blimey, and they did, every type of make and model turned up, apparently on a rememberance ride for a local biker who passed away due to a road incident, most from Peterborough, place seemed abit full so we carried on with our rideout, me on my CBF1000, Jim on his CBF600, Danny on a Triumph Bonne, Carl on a BMW GS1200 Steve on his ZZ900, and Ron on his bmw RT1600, another he of riding with a fillup stop at Market Harborough, Leics, and ending up at Brampton railway carpark, Northants, a popular disused railway/walking route.Great Rideout with lots of twists and turns thanks to Ron’s planning, cheers Ron.
