On weds 23 June Northants HOC members met at The George Inn, Brixworth for a evening rideout with bikes of all makes and sizes, mainly Japanese but with a couple triumphs, the weather was warm and sunny with 13 bikes turning up and they brought their riders with them, mufo was 7.30pm and with 12 bikes mounted up and ready another one turned up at the last min, Tony Pyate on his ninja. Rideout was led by Adrian and tail-end curtesy of Ron with Adrian leading us on a great 60min run through gorgeous Northants countryside and beautiful villages with thatched cottages and one track roads to The Kings Arms, Farthingstone, near Daventry, for a refreshment and chinwag and laughter. The pub garden was interesting with a maze like paths leading to secluded chairs and tables surrounded by flowers and lovely scented herbs and stacked pots and homemade arts almost like a jungle trail at times, well worth a visit in its own right.
