North London visit The Raven.

No, we didn’t go to the Tower of London, but to the fairly nice Raven Pub in Heston, somewhere between Luton and Hitchen. Steve Jones led the very pleasant ride on a rather convoluted but pleasant route. Lovely weather and dry roads were a feature of the day. At the Pub we were joined by Phil for lunch and it was great to see him and his very smart Goldwing. Hondas were well represented on this Ride. Six of us did the whole route. After a leisurely lunch time feed we took another rather convoluted route to a very nice new for us cafe, the Brewery Tea Room in Walkern. Two of us had a great brew, of tea, whereas the others generally had fizzy pop. Cakey stuff featured, of course! We have to keep our figures. The route to the tea rooms took in Potton, Gamlingay, edge of Royston and near Baldock and I did enjoy the road we took into and out of Walkern which ran parallel to the A10. A good day indeed.
