12-19th July
Ten of the Branch were involved in a full week’s trip staying at a fine Airbnb at Polzeath in Cornwall. Steve Jones had organised the Trip and seven bikes and one car were our transport. On the first Saturday we had a pleasant but long drive there in hot weather, with a stop at Loomies on the way. Sunday was also hot and we all decided to have a day at Polzeath beach. The swim in the sea was lovely. The weather cooled down from the Monday and we did have some damp weather, not too much though. We had rides to the Lizard, St Michael’s Mount and met Cliff who took us over Dartmoor and also did a shorther ride to a nice little cove, Trebarwith it was. I think we all liked the Lizard and on Dartmoor visited the Old Prison cafe in Princetown. Our final day before riding home was spent on the beach again for most of us, though some did ride to visit the Jamaica Inn. We had some nice evening meals, four out and three where we were staying. A good week.
Regards
Steve
