North London Trio Venture Forth

The weather leading up to Sunday, 24th November had looked pretty bad and so no formal ride was published. However the weather changed late and three of us ventured out, led by the indomitable Dave Plumb, supported by me and Richard. Apologies if anyone missed the ride but it was a late decision.  Well we had a really good day with a fairly warm dry day and roads and a good pace by our leader. A good lunch was taken at a nice cafe in Walton which we got to via Malden, Colchester and Clacton. Our final stop was at Greggs in Sudbury for tea and donuts. Our route there was via Manningtree and Hadleigh. The final stretch after tea was our often used Sible Hedingham, Finchingfield and Dunmow. It proved to be a great day out and thanks to the chaps for not being put off by older weather forecasts.

Regards

Steve
