North London Quattro Fandango

It was Sunday 1st December when four naive optimists met up for a Ride at McDonalds. Classy group that we are.

The day was damp and drizzly, but not cold. We were confident as the weather forecasts said the day would soon clear up. A lovely route took us through the Hadhams, Clavering, Newport, Saffron Walnut, Linton and Havering before lunch.

Lunch was at the fine Cafe33 near Stradishall, on the road to Bury St Eddy. We had a great bit of food and chat, looked at the light rain falling cheerfully outside and pondered our next move.

I continued to lead and we went through Clare, cross country to Finchingfield, Thaxted, Takeley and a final stop at the nice cafe in Hatfield Heath.

The day had not cleared up but we all agreed it had been enjoyable, with good food and company.

I thought I’d include pictures of four male models this time, rather than the bikes which were looking rather grey….. and dirty…. Richard is doing his Tommy Cooper impression.  🤣
