Sunday 27th July
It was a lovely day and I decided to go to the pleasant Waterfront cafe at the Suffolk Water Park, Bramford. It was nice that there were eight of us ready to go, but unfortunately Simon had to pull out as he had doubts about his bike battery. We were having a nice run there when I made an error and we ended up on the A12, no big deal, but the motorway was shut for about an hour for an incident. We believe someone was threatening to jump off one of the bridges. It was a bit of a bikers gathering at the front of the queue and we regrouped with some of our number who had taken a wrong turn. So we had a fine lunch about an hour late. I then successfully navigated us on a nice route to Winners cafe at Finchingfield. After that we soon split up to get home. A nice day.
