On a fine day of very fine roads I put forward a Ride to the Waterfront Diner at the Waterpark, Bamford. It’s near Ipswich. It’s very nice there and the food is good. Six of us took part and this week the marking was great, the pace was good and we had no losses or incidents. We took one of our regular routes out going via Dunmow, Braintree, Sible Hedingham and Sudbury before heading up through Hadleigh. At lunch a certain amount of gobbling was in order. 😊. After lunch we went via Needham Market, Monks Eleigh, Lavenham, Sudbury, Great Yeldham, Finchingfield, Thaxted, Takeley and, the cafe at Hatfield Heath being shut, had a final stop at Mayfield Farm Shop on the edge of Harlow. A great day indeed. Thanks to Ben for afternoon refreshments.
