Hi!
North London duo have a Stag Lunch
17th March did not promise much in the way of good weather and only Richard elected to join me on a ride.
We did have damp weather for much of the day, though not wet, using a lovely route through Takeley, Thaxted, Haverhill then onto the Hungry Stag café junction at 47A off the A14.
The food here was really good and then drying roads took us home through Lavenham, Clare, Finchingfield and Dunmow.
The whole route was really good and we had a great day, neither of us regretted having gone out.
Richard did have a puncture that was fairly quickly repaired, he wasn’t too pleased about that as the tyres were only a few hundred miles old.
Modern sports touring tyres cope really well with damp or wet roads these days..
Regards
Steve
